The unit is listed at $279,000. It is on Belmont in the Roscoe Village meets Lakeview area. It’s a great location. From the pictures, it does not appear to be a particularly large unit, but it has recently been redone and appears to get good light. This unit is not a typical garden unit, where you have to descend steps to get inside. It is actually at ground level, so the windows are full sized and in the center of the walls.
Getting into a 2 bed / 2 bath unit with washer/dryer and parking for under $300k in a desirable neighborhood of the city is no easy task, but this place seems to be a decent option, especially if you don’t need a huge place.
Can I ask one question, though – what the heck is going on with the filter the photographer used? Overall the pictures look nice, but the filter makes everything look very gray and washed out.
